“He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone.” → Jesus lived a completely sinless life. Even when others mistreated Him, He never responded with sin or dishonesty. “He did not retaliate when he was insulted.” → Jesus didn’t insult people back just because they insulted Him. He refused to let their behavior control His response. “Nor threaten revenge when he suffered.” → Even when people treated Him terribly, Jesus didn’t try to get even or threaten them. “He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.” → Jesus trusted God to handle the injustice instead of taking revenge into His own hands. ⸻ Simple takeaway: You don’t have to get even with people who hurt you. Follow Jesus’ example: do what’s right, refuse to retaliate, and trust God to judge fairly.
