Saunas are cool, hot springs are way better. We know that hot springs contains tons of minerals including magnesium, copper, iron, potassium etc. These have been used for thousands of years for bathing, relaxation, reducing join pain, improving sleep quality, increasing blood flow, and healing skin conditions. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that all five of the Blue Zones (Italy, Japan, Greece, California, Costa Rica) have natural hot springs either within them or nearby. These are definitely one factor that may be contributing to longevity here. If you have the opportunity to check out a hot spring, I highly recommend. This is natures version of a sauna! ✅
